Andrew Milroy has responsibility for driving and managing Ovum’s consulting and advisory services in the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining Ovum, Andrew held leadership roles at IDC and NelsonHall and was SVP of the Digital Transformation Group at Frost & Sullivan. He has global experience, having worked in Europe, the US, Australia, and Asia. Andrew is based in Singapore, where he has lived for the past eight years. Kim Stengert is Chief, Strategic Communication and External Relations at WWF-Singapore (World Wide Fund for Nature Singapore), the world’s largest conservation organisation with offices in about 100 countries.

Kim leads multi-stakeholder engagement at WWF-Singapore to address some of the region’s most complex environmental challenges, from haze to plastics, climate change and food. He advocates for policy commitments by businesses and governments while driving behavioural changes amongst mass audiences.

At WWF-Singapore, he has pioneered innovative approaches that tap into the digital-connected to drive conservation outcomes. Initiatives that he has led include an award-winning augmented reality rainforest experience with the ArtScience Museum and Google and multiple public campaigns to address haze in Singapore that have led to top businesses in Singapore committing to taking action on sustainable palm oil.

Kim has a wealth of experience spanning four countries, three continents in almost two decades. Before joining WWF-Singapore in 2014, he owned a digital marketing agency where he consulted Fortune 500 companies on digital and business development strategies.

An Australian national with over 35 years of culinary experience, Chef Lucas Glanville has been instrumental in leading Grand Hyatt Singapore’s sustainable journey since 2002, pioneering key initiatives in Water, Food Sourcing, and Food Waste Management.

 Chef Lucas experience has seen him worked in world-class kitchens around the world, including the 3 Star Michelin winner La Gavroche in London, the award-winning mezza9 restaurant in Singapore, and the Browns Restaurant in Melbourne which was recognised as the Best Restaurant in Australia

 He returned to Grand Hyatt Singapore in 2010 as Director of Culinary Operations, and immediately initiated a review of the hotel’s food sources as part of Hyatt’s food philosophy “Thoughtfully Sourced, Carefully Served”. His hard work was recognised by Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) and Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) when the hotel was awarded the Chain of Custody certification by both bodies in 2015.

 Lucas was also instrumental in the installation of the world’s first complete vacuum waste management food digester system in 2016. In line with reducing food waste, Lucas works closely with local communities to donate almost 10 tonnes of excess food annually to lower income families in Singapore.

 An advocate for preserving the planet for future generations, Lucas and his team are leading the Hotel and Food & Beverage industry on only offering certified sustainable seafood, ensuring all animals consumed are sourced from ethical and responsible origins, implementing nose-to-tail programmes to reduce food waste at the source and destination, and collaborating with local farmers to procure organic vegetables with minimal carbon footprint and food miles.

 Lucas and his team have also successfully positioned Grand Hyatt Singapore as a leader in providing plant-based options in Singapore through a series of Food Truck activations, and was also responsible for removing single-use plastics throughout the hotel’s operation.

 In addition to his role at Grand Hyatt Singapore, Lucas is also the Director of Culinary Operations for South East Asia where he works closely with Hyatt International ASPAC Leadership Team on developing new properties and F&B concepts. A familiar face at sustainability conferences and panel

discussions, Chef Lucas was recognised for his work in F&B sustainability in 2019 when he received the Marine Stewardship Council Hospitality Star Award at the 2019 World Gourmet Awards.

Marcus Hanna

With over 20 years of vast hospitality experience, Marcus Hanna joined Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel The Stamford as General Manager in 2017. Prior to joining Fairmont Singapore and Swissôtel the Stamford, Marcus was General Manager of Novotel on Clark Quay for two years, another property of AccorHotels.

Marcus began his journey in the hospitality industry at the Regent Hotel in Sydney (now the Four Seasons) as a Banquet waiter whilst studying Hospitality Management at Ryde Catering College in Sydney, NSW. He was concurrently pursuing a sporting career in rowing, where he was Australian Champion many times over and selected to represent the country on four occasions, twice at the World Championships.

In 1995 Marcus joined InterContinental Sydney, beginning his career in Food & Beverage before venturing abroad to InterContinental London, Malta and San Francisco as an Assistant Food & Beverage Manager and thereafter Director of Food & Beverage.

Marcus returned to Australia in September 2004 where he started with AccorHotels at Sofitel Melbourne on Collins as Food and Beverage Manager, before being promoted to Executive Assistant Manager. During this time, he oversaw a multi-million-dollar renovation of the hotel, and also gained the opportunity to augment his portfolio with a dual position as the Project Manager for Sofitel on the opening of the Qantas First Class Lounges in Sydney and Melbourne.

In October 2007, Marcus was appointed General Manager for the opening of Pullman at Sydney Olympic Park – the first hotel of its kind in the Pacific, before subsequently transferring to Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach in a similar capacity. As a testament to his leadership, the hotel won the best Meetings & Conventions property at the Queensland Tourism Awards during his tenure at the Sofitel Gold Coast Broadbeach.

Marcus then moved to Sofitel Brisbane Central in June 2012. During his stint in Brisbane, the hotel was one of the host hotels for the 2014 G20 Summit. In addition, he also led the hotel to become a two-time winner as the “Best Deluxe hotel in Queensland”.

Roshith Rajan

Based in Singapore, Roshith is responsible for the strategy development and execution of the ‘Better Tomorrow 2025’, Sodexo’s Corporate Responsibility roadmap, for the region of Asia Pacific with a particular focus on responsible and sustainable food, food waste, small and local businesses inclusion, food insecurity and women empowerment in communities, single use plastics.

He influences internal and external stakeholders of the business value of Corporate Responsibility and integrating it into business strategy and everyday operations in the 14+ APAC countries of more than 70,000 employees through initiatives, standard practices, and policies. He currently also program leads the Sodexo food waste prevention initiative at the global level with planned deployment in more than 3000 locations by 2020. He has championed Ideathons, Hackathons, and led internal Digital & Innovation challenge raising 500+ ideas for execution.

Under his leadership, Sodexo won the Champions of Good Award for 2017 and 2018, the ACES Award for Asia’s Most Socially Responsible Company of the Year (2018), Sustainable Business Award Singapore, and also recognized for #1 in the industry by the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) for 14 years in a row . He also heads ‘Stop Hunger’ for Asia Pacific, a philanthropic program that is a leading force in the fight against hunger and malnutrition with a target to impact 100 million beneficiaries by 2025.

Prior to Singapore, he worked with the Sodexo Group HQ in Paris for 5 years developing the Corporate Responsibility strategy, projects, and governance. He has also worked with leading technology companies in new product development such as SAP Labs and NTT Data in India.

Wong Ker How

Ker How believes that all good design stems from a solid plan, a passion for crafts and an interest in unique experiences. These desires form the basis for the founding of the award-winning design practice ASOLIDPLAN. Built on the belief that all good design begins with a well-conceived plan, the company is interested in design that provokes, questions, pushes limits; and loves creating spaces that are evocative, that can connect with the environment and beyond.

Upon graduation with a Master of Architecture from National University of Singapore, Ker How indulged in the training of all forms of design typology. Having honed skills from Zarch Collaboratives, Formwerkz Architects and DP Architects, he had acquired a rich portfolio that ranges from master-planning, hospitality, residential, commercial, conservation and notably the 2008 Singapore National Day Stage Set design.

Other than built works in Singapore, Ker How also built overseas projects such as a golf course resort development in Southern China and a mixed commercial development, collaborated with Cecil Balmond, in Sri Lanka. Besides the usual commissioned projects, he had led various design teams to multiple design awards locally and internationally.

He is currently a registered architect with the Board of Architects in Singapore and the Chairperson of the Young Architects’ League under Singapore Institute of Architects. Ker How is also an adjunct lecturer with the Singapore Polytechnic.
